Shipping Information

For the duration of our FREE GROUND SHIPPING promotion we ship all our items via FedEx or UPS. Once your item has been shipped you will receive an email with the tracking information. Most items shipped via FedEx or UPS Ground take 3-7 Business days to reach our customers, sometimes even faster! We also offer the option of FedEx 3-Day, FedEx 2-Day, and FedEx Overnight. Extra shipping charges will apply if you choose a shipping option other than Ground. Shipping charges are on a per item basis (not per order). If you have a problem or question regarding our shipping procedures please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Conditions of Merchandise

Refurbished/Reconditioned

Refurbished products are restored to original manufacturer specifications by reputable refurbishing companies. In addition, these products typically come with the added advantage of a warranty. These unused or used items have been returned for various reasons: use in field tests, use in sales displays, and cancellations. They are then cleaned, quality checked and tested twice. They are also serviced if needed, by a reputable refurbishing company. Refurbished products may come with minor blemishes and may come with or without manuals, batteries and back-recovery disks. A complete listing of accessories included with the refurbished item will be provided on the item description page. Please refer to the item description page for exact terms regarding warranty information.

New

Items that have never been used and may still be in their original packaging. These items come complete with manuals and other accessories. Most merchandise classified as New carries a manufacturer warranty, but please refer to the item description page to be sure.

Open Box

These products are new, which means they have not been previously sold or used. In some cases they have been removed from their packaging for random testing or other purposes. Open Box products are checked to ensure that they function according to specifications and then repackaged. Most merchandise classified as Open Box carries a warranty, but please refer to the item description page to be sure.

Manufacturer Refurbished/Factory Reconditioned

Off Lease refers to products that have been used by individuals or businesses for a contracted period of time. They are inspected and tested for full functionality, and then sold for resale. Please refer to the item description page to see whether merchandise classified as Off Lease carries a warranty.



Return Policy & Warranty Procedures

In rare cases, you may have the need to return an item to Compuvelocity.com. Below, please find the policies and procedures that allow us to quickly and efficiently process your return.

Return Procedure

In order to return a product you must be granted a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). To receive an RMA, email your information to sales@compuvelocity.com or call 319-235-0200. It is important that you include the detailed reason that you are requesting a return. Once your return is authorized, Compuvelocity.com will contact you with the return instructions. It is important that you follow the instructions for returns or your return may not be processed. RMA numbers cannot be extended or reissued.

PLEASE NOTE Compuvelocity.com will be unable to process credit for returns without a prior authorization, so please insure that you follow the return procedure. You must contact SurplusProduct.com within 15 days from the delivery date to initiate a return.

-Your returned items must reach us within 30 days from the delivery date. Items received after 30 days will not be accepted for full return. Returned merchandise received after 60 days from the invoice date will not be refunded nor returned.

-When we receive your returned item, we will refund your order amount less a 15% restocking fee and the original shipping charges.

-Replacements and merchandise credits are at the sole discretion of Compuvelocity.com

-The RMA number must be indicated on all packages being returned. The purchase invoice must be included with the return. If there are multiple packages, a separate copy of the invoice must be included in all packages being returned.

All items will be inspected and tested by Compuvelocity.com upon receipt. In order to process your return and credit, the items will be inspected for the following:

-All items must be returned in the original condition and packaging. Specifically: packing materials, diskettes, CDs, warranty cards, parts and accessories, promotional items, manuals, and all other documentation provided.

-All software included with your purchase must be returned in the original condition in which it was supplied.

-Serial number on returned product must match serial number on record with Compuvelocity.com.

-Packages affixed with counterfeit label(s) or affixed with labels exhibiting tampering will not be accepted for return.

The customer must pay all costs related to return shipping. Original shipping charges will not be reimbursed. After receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise, if your return passes inspection, your return will be processed. Please allow up to 20 days for processing. To ensure your return passes inspection, please follow our returns procedure listed above.

Items Under Warranty

In cases where the product is covered by a warranty, please contact Compuvelocity.com by emailing sales@compuvelocity.com or calling 319-235-0200. We will do our best to provide any technical support to solve issues in a timely fashion. If the issue cannot be solved using technical support we may offer a return for refund or replacement (depending on availability). If an item has to be returned we will issue an RMA number that must be indicated on the item being returned. Items under warranty will be returned via a FedEx pick-up that will be arranged with a Compuvelocity.com Customer Service Representative. The FedEx pick-up must occur at the original shipping address where the item was delivered. The cost of the return FedEx pick-up and shipment will be paid for by Compuvelocity.com. The item will go through the standard return policy inspection stated above. Once the item passes the inspection a refund (including the original shipping) or a replacement (depending on availability) will be given.
